Responsibilities
- Drive standardization, harmonization, and continuous improvement through the adoption of proven technologies, industry best practices, and lessons learned, ensuring engineering solutions are practical, maintainable, scalable, and aligned with long-term operational performance.
- Establish the JES organizational structure, resource strategy, and capacity plans while managing a shared engineering resource pool that maximizes utilization, optimizes internal and external support, and scales effectively with project demand.
- Develop organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership while fostering a culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration, innovation, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality engineering support throughout all project phases, overseeing engineering quality, reliability, resource allocation, and technical execution to achieve project objectives, schedules, budgets, and operational requirements.
- Monitor industry trends and lead initiatives that improve engineering effectiveness through standardization, digitalization, modularization, innovation, and repeatable design solutions.
Requirements
- What Are We Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline) with extensive
- experience leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations and complex industrial capital projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams, build organizational capability, and drive performance through collaboration and accountability.
- Strong knowledge of industrial plant engineering, capital project development and execution, engineering delivery models, and contractor/vendor management.
- Experience establishing engineering standards, governance practices, and resource strategies that support operational excellence, consistency, and project success.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across PMO, operations, plant, regional, and corporate teams.
