Responsibilities
- Own the financial relationship with assigned B2B clients, acting as their trusted advisor on energy accounting and revenue assurance matters. •
- Oversee the delivery of monthly financial outputs, including revenue recognition, gross margin, reconciliations, variance analysis, and controls reporting. •
- Review and challenge analytical work produced by the Customer Financial Assurance team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clarity before client submission. •
- Lead client meetings, presenting financial results, performance commentary, and improvement opportunities. •
- Collaborate with operations, billing, data, and product teams to resolve issues, improve data quality, and strengthen financial controls. •
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial assurance processes, reporting, and client engagement. Competency Requirements: Behaviours: •

Requirements
- experience through automation and AI‑driven insight, all underpinned by modern, cloud‑native architecture.
- experience managing client relationships and presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders. •
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools;
- experience with BI platforms is an advantage. •
- Experience in the complex workings of the energy market, ideally with large supply portfolios •
- In depth knowledge of industry protocols, e.g. settlement mechanics, data flows, invoicing of Gross Margin costs •
- Experience of Management Accounting, ideally with both B2C & B2B Energy Supply. Preferably CIMA qualified or studying towards it. •

- The customer Financial Assurance Manager leads the financial assurance relationship for our B2B clients, ensuring the delivery of accurate energy accounting outputs, high-quality revenue assurance and regulatory reporting.
- This role acts as the primary financial point of contact, providing strategic insight, commercial guidance, and assurance over financial performance across complex energy portfolios.
- Provide commercial insight into consumption trends, billing performance, and financial risks, translating technical data into clear, actionable recommendations. •
- Line management responsibility for Customer Financial Assurance Analysts. •
- Leads a team to deliver objectives with accountability for outputs and outcomes •
- Provides regular feedback, coaching and career development support •
- Balances day-to-day operational delivery with incremental improvements •
