Requirements
- You will support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- What We're Looking For You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
- experience in environmental management or environmental engineering.
- You possess a valid PPPA certification.
- You have strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
- You are familiar with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and PROPER requirements.
- You have a solid understanding of contractor compliance and HSE regulations.

- The role serves as the focal point for contractor management, including covered and unsupervised contractors, while maintaining effective communication with government bodies regarding environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements.
- The position oversees regular environmental monitoring activities, promotes and supports Environmental Management Systems such as ISO 14001 and PROPER, and ensures all operations meet Goodyear and governmental environmental standards.
- In addition, the role leads industrial hygiene initiatives and manages the chemical management system to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment.
- What You'll Do You will monitor environmental compliance with local and international regulations while ensuring alignment with company and governmental environmental standards.
- You will manage waste, emissions, water treatment, and pollution control programs, including maintaining operational WWTP and STP systems.
- You will conduct environmental inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- You will prepare environmental reports, regulatory submissions, and support permit applications and renewals.
