Additional details
- Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential.
- We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
- Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team.
- As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
- This is a remote US role with a preference for east coast time zone. Openness to flexible hours to support cross-time-zone collaboration with teams in Europe and the U.S. About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated, technical Engineering Manager to lead our Sensing Discovery Squad – the team that turns brand-new sensing signals into validated, productizable capabilities at the very front edge of Oura’s roadmap.
- You’ll lead the work that takes raw signals from emerging sensing technologies on next-generation Oura hardware and turns them into algorithms, prototypes, and shippable member experiences.
- Partnering tightly with Science and Hardware, you’ll go from raw signal → validated capability → product, de-risking the sensor foundations that future Oura products are built on.
- This is a rare blend of innovation and impact: your team both explores new sensing capabilities and ships them.
- You’ll thrive here if you love the ambiguity of early discovery but are equally motivated by getting validated capabilities into members’ hands.
