Senior ME - NPI Lead (SF)

Responsibilities

  • - Design and documentation: Create and refine CAD models, 2D drawings, and tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure assembly success and yield - Inspection: Identify and develop inspection protocols and metrology methods - Partner with manufacturing to develop custom fixtures and tooling, ensuring process controls align with design intent and CTQ requirements.
  • - Drive failure analysis investigations to resolve complex design, material, or process issues - Manage contract manufacturing partners, overseeing people (engineers and technicians) and processes (eg: machining, welding, and polymer processing)

  • Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field - Minimum 7 years of industry
  • experience in product development of medical devices - Minimum 5 years
  • experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Solidworks - Inclination toward hands-on engineering activities -
  • Experience with manufacturing of mechanical components such as plastic or metal parts, adhesives, printed circuit boards, and cables - Expertise in dimensioning and tolerance analyses, and inspection methods -
  • Experience working with component and contract manufacturers -
