Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for special events, handle non-PO package shipments, enter purchase requisitions, and serve as a back-up for the plant clerical staff.
Requirements
- What You'll Be Doing Monitor, coordinate, and reconcile inbound/outbound rail schedules, and enter billing in SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Physical Demands Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying plant conditions.

- Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.
- Serve as primary liaison between HM Logistics, Union Pacific, internal/external customers, and third-party vendors.
- Reconcile vendor invoices, schedule railcar cleaning, and maintain rail-related administrative records.
- Provide on-call support and cross-train in scale house operations and truck automation procedures.
- Engage in plant safety walkthroughs and inspections to ensure compliance and promote a safe work environment.
- Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 4:30pm and rotational weekends (SAT & SUN).
- What Are We Looking For Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Rail industry knowledge is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- Work Environment Position is based in a plant quarry setting within the plant environment.
