Responsibilities
- Recommend media positioning and exposure for enterprise and business unit opportunities, including complex, sensitive or high-visibility engagements involving senior executives and the CEO.
- Manage the media pipeline, help arbitrate competing priorities, and provide senior counsel on which opportunities to pursue and how to prepare for them.
- Support external briefs, panel and conference preparation, speaking points, editorials, executive speeches and other materials that strengthen CAE’s positioning.
Requirements
- Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science Journalism, Marketing Communications, or related discipline. 8 years of
- experience in public relations agencies, corporate communications, or political communications. Bilingual with excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills in English and French.
- Experience in media relation strategy and communication stakeholder management. International and local media relations experience. Preferred
- Qualifications Ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, sense of autonomy and self-discipline.
- Ability to show initiative, autonomy and creativity.
- Experience in corporate, aerospace, or government environments.
