Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and sustains Lean transformation strategies aligned with the IDEXX Excellence System.

The ideal candidate brings management experience, possesses robust problem-solving skills and has a proven track record of implementing Lean principles within an operating system to achieve measurable results. PRIMARY DUTIES AND
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Proficiency in Lean methodologies and operating system deployment Ability to organize, prioritize and direct work activities.
Experience with ERP systems and process mapping software General business knowledge required, including specific knowledge of businesses supported.
Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch.
May be required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
Fluency in the English language Travel required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 7+ years of management skills and ability.
Typically 7+ years' Supervisory/Managerial experience, with in-depth experience in the areas managed.

As the Senior Lean Operations Manager , you will lead all aspects of work driving continuous improvement culture and embedding Lean principles across the IDEXX enterprise.
Managing a team of Lean Leaders, you will be responsible for supporting the IDEXX Excellence System, driving process optimization and productivity improvements.
Conducts value stream mapping to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Establishes and monitors KPIs to track continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborates with leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and allocate resources.
Manages staff and/or supervisors of the Lean team within Operational Excellence, planning and assigning work, monitoring activities and evaluating performance.
Administers employment actions, provides coaching and guidance to staff and promotes staff training and development.
Contributes to development of strategy and direction.
May coordinate work of outside vendors and contractors.
Communicates with other related departments to coordinate work and resolve issues as needed.
