Propulsion and Energetics Test Technician II

Responsibilities

Fabricate pressure test panels, fluid systems, test fixtures, data acquisition systems and harnessing.
Review drawings (P&IDs, manufacturing drawings, etc.).
Track record of attention to detail, good craftsmanship, and taking pride in your work.
Track record of safe work habits.

Operate high pressure systems for testing purposes (Must have a familiarity with pressure regulators, trim valves, flow meters, etc.).
High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of
experience in aerospace, military, or automotive testing, fabrication, or a related field. Professional
experience in performing and conducting pressure tests, leak checks, and/or flow tests. •
experience in debugging and conducting basic electrical tests.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
Ability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required. Desired
Experience with weld heating, brazing, and cutting with various fuels. •
Experience using work orders, inventory requests, schematics, and drawings.
The ability to provide valuable critiques of work orders/workflow to make continuous improvement in the company. •
Experience working with and learning new data acquisition software products. Demonstrated
experience in working in a fast-paced and constantly adapting environment.
experience working in startups and small independent teams.

The California hourly rate for this role is currently $32.00 - $47.00. Pay Grades are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and internal equity.
