Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of three embedded data scientists & analysts
Own weekly planning, prioritisation, and delivery oversight across the team's workstreams
Manage intake processes and stakeholder expectations across business verticals
Own and maintain key reporting surface across our BI infrastructure
Build trusted relationships with cross-functional partners across all functions

experience leading a data and analytics team, ideally in a marketplace or platform business &
experience managing and developing analysts and data scientists at different seniority levels
experience presenting to or advising executive teams
Analytical Rigor: Hands-on SQL proficiency — comfortable getting into the detail when needed
experience in a scale-up or growth-stage company is a plus

Growth Data Science & Analytics Lead (Maternity Cover)
This is an ex-co facing leadership role: you'll manage a team of three embedded data scientists & analysts, own the analytics roadmap across our business verticals, and be the senior data voice in cross-functional and ExCo-level conversations. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact interim leadership role in a fast-growing, data-rich marketplace business.
Act as line manager and primary point of escalation, supporting individual contributor development and day-to-day work
Serve as the senior analytics partner to the Executive Committee, presenting data-led insights on marketplace health, revenue performance, and growth
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, measured narratives for senior audiences
