Responsibilities

Operate a haul truck to move materials from the pit to the plant in a safe and efficient manner to support production.
Support production activities by moving materials, tools, and supplies as needed.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance and quarry operations tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Utility Person to support daily quarry operations.
This role is responsible for assisting with maintenance, housekeeping, production support, and general site activities that contribute to a safe and efficient operation.
What You'll Be Doing Perform site housekeeping and cleanup to maintain a safe and organized quarry environment.
Assist with equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support operational reliability.
Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures while contributing to team goals.
Dependable team player with strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
