Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate platform capabilities that enable secure, reliable, and scalable application delivery across a multi-tenant Kubernetes environment.
- Lead troubleshooting, incident response, capacity planning, and continuous improvement efforts to maintain a highly available production platform.
Requirements
- Summary Resmed is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help design, build, and operate our cloud-native compute platform on AWS and Kubernetes.
- experience operating Kubernetes platforms in production, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
- experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Deep expertise with AWS cloud and managing kubernetes clusters in production environments. Hands-on
- experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Argo CD, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, including VPCs, CNI, service mesh, ingress, Envoy Gateway, Gateway API, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with Karpenter, autoscaling, capacity management, and cost optimization. Strong production
- experience with observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and operational excellence.
- Experience in healthcare, medical device, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Experience applying AI to software engineering, platform operations, and developer productivity.
