Requirements
- Working primarily in Ruby on Rails while contributing across the stack, you'll partner closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to identify opportunities, ship experiments, and improve customer outcomes.

- These are the key ways you'll contribute and create impact in this role: - Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, application logic, and data models in Ruby on Rails - Own and deliver growth initiatives from concept through launch and iteration - Build customer-facing product experiences across the Homebase platform - Contribute to React and TypeScript applications where needed to deliver end-to-end solutions - Design, build, and evaluate experiments that improve activation, engagement,
- experience building backend systems and customer-facing applications with Ruby on Rails - Working knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices - Ability to contribute effectively across the stack while maintaining a backend-first focus - Strong product sense and ability to evaluate tradeoffs through both customer and business lenses - Demonstrated
- experience using AI tools to improve engineering workflows and productivity -
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data teams - Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity - Ability to collaborate in person at the Toronto hub on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Experience working in a product-led growth environment -
- Experience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing frameworks -
