- About the Job: The Registered Nurse on NICU performs total body cooling, nitric oxide administration, close observation, attention, and intervention for the very unique needs of each patient.
- Nurses are the first person to ask if there are concerns or questions about a baby’s care and they will help educate families in becoming more involved.
- What You’ll Do: Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
- Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
