Responsibilities
- Manage to establish SQDC metrics.
- Participate & lead A3 projects focused on improving business metrics.
- Demonstrate leadership in the areas of communication, conflict resolution, process constraints and problem solving.
- Lead and effectively communicate at daily T1/FLM meeting.
- Maintain T1/FLM visual management tools (PVA, run charts, focus boards, and other tools) to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement within the assigned cost center/value stream.
- Ensure the continuous flow of production to meet planned output while following operations standards (safety, quality, delivery, cost, maintenance), identify issues, engage the T1 team in problem resolution and understands when to escalate issues to T2 team, partnering with Value Stream Supervisor as appropriate.
Requirements
- Knowledge of employee capabilities and training within assigned cost center/value stream.
- Participate in problem solving using AMS tools and methodology (5 Why, PDCA, MCA, CAPA, focus boards).
- experience successfully leading work teams in the achievement of value stream goals and objectives.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques (5S).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train and motivate employees.
- Proven ability to problem solve, make sound decisions and delegate appropriately.
