Responsibilities
- Design and build product features that drive activation, engagement, and cross-team expansion
- Lead project development from planning to launch and ongoing iteration
- Build experiences that improve user onboarding, feature discovery, and product education
- Create third party connections, allowing other products to integrate with Amplitude
- Collaborate with Product, Design, GTM, and other engineers to prioritize and deliver impact
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and team culture
- Improve the quality, reliability, and maintainability of the code you touch
Requirements

- With powerful AI Agents embedded across our platform, teams can analyze, test, and optimize user experiences faster than ever.
- We build features that help new users get activated, leverage AI for frictionless insights, highlight relevant parts of the product they might otherwise miss, and expand usage across teams and departments.
- We work across Amplitude’s core product suite and integrations, partnering closely with Product, Design, and GTM.
- Work across the full stack using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and GraphQL
- Leverage AI coding tools to speed up development while staying grounded in system understanding
- experience with modern web technologies, especially React, Node.js, and GraphQL
- Use AI tools (like Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude) to accelerate, not replace, your workflow •
- experience building in-product education, onboarding, or integration surfaces

- Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $165,000 - $247,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- New York City salary range: $183,000 - $276,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Salary range: $183,000 - $276,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- California salary range: $165,000 - $247,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Washington salary range: $165,000 - $247,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans.
