Requirements
- Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
- experience in margin operations, clearing operations, or market risk at an exchange, clearinghouse, FCM, or broker-dealer - Deep familiarity with margin methodologies, initial margin, variation margin, intraday margin calls, and collateral management -
- Experience operating in a real-time risk monitoring capacity, including making independent escalation decisions under pressure - Strong understanding of cleared derivatives, futures, or event contracts and their associated risk mechanics - Comfort working overnight or non-standard hours as the primary risk operations coverage - Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and monitoring - Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to stay sharp and decisive during high-pressure
