- The ideal candidate is deeply grounded in Montessori philosophy, values the prepared environment, and views themselves as a guide who supports each child’s intellectual, social, and emotional development within a collaborative, multi-age classroom.
- Qualifications & Attributes The successful candidate: holds AMI Montessori Elementary credentials or equivalent, has 3 to 5 years of
- experience in a Montessori elementary environment, demonstrates a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and the developmental characteristics of the second plane, is skilled in observation, record-keeping, and individualized lesson planning, values the three-year cycle and long-term student growth, communicates clearly and professionally with students, colleagues, and families, is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
