Responsibilities
- - Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient systems in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud).
- - Optimize storage and compute infrastructure for high performance and cost-effectiveness.
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application needs and integration projects.
- - Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in both Windows and Linux environments, extensive
- experience with monitoring and disaster recovery solutions, and a strong foundation in virtualization, cloud services, storage, and preferably high-performance computing (HPC).
- QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 7+ years of
- experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles. - Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments. - Proven
- experience in data center design, build-out, and operations. - Strong knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik). -
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/AWS GovCloud, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, Ceph). -
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). - Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). - Understanding of networking fundamentals and integration with infrastructure systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
