- Apprentice Simulator Technician This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to join CAE , a global leader in training and simulation solutions, at our Cognac training centre in France .
- experience in a highly technical environment, supporting simulator operations while developing practical skills and building a career within the aviation and simulation industry
- Responsibilities: Support the maintenance team with preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of simulators Progress from observing maintenance technicians to carrying out assigned technical tasks under supervisor guidance Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting Collect data and prepare reports as required Document processes and assist with software review and documentation activities Provide general administrative support to the department Minimum
- Qualifications: Relevant technical qualification (e.g., vocational qualification, diploma, Bac+2/DUT or equivalent) or practical
- experience in a technical or engineering-related role Demonstrated interest in technology and motivation to learn and develop in a technical environment Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Basic communication skills and willingness to collaborate with colleagues Commitment to complying with company security, data protection, and information handling policies Ability to use a computer and standard office tools Physical ability to bend, stoop, and work in confined or ground-level
