Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end data integrations that sync customer data to and from Scale's platform
- Design and maintain playbooks, internal tools, documentation, and SDKs that set customers up for long-term success
- Own the customer's technical
- Develop expertise in large language models, 2D image annotation, and API integrations
Requirements
- As a Field Engineer on our federal AI projects, you'll work directly with our largest public sector customers to make sure their
- experience with Scale's technology is smooth and successful.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required. What You'll Do
- experience throughout their time with Scale
- Experience as a customer-facing engineer or in a similar hybrid role Hands-on technical
- experience working with clients in a pre- or post-sales capacity Development
- experience with Python, JavaScript, or other modern languages
- A strong engineering background, ideally in computer science, mathematics, or another quantitative field
- The ability to present credibly to both executives and front-line engineers

- The base salary range for this full-time position in the location of Washington DC/Hawaii is: $180,550 — $226,550 USD The base salary range for this full-time position in the location of St. Louis/Suffolk is: $150,400 — $188,000 USD

Additional details
- You'll help these customers build production-grade data pipelines, working closely with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- This means learning each customer's use cases in depth and building the tools and documentation they need to grow.
- The role sits at the intersection of customer delivery, product, and engineering.
- Work with customers' engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, including input on API endpoint design and input/output schemas
- Partner with engineers and Operations to resolve technical blockers, debug delivery issues, and own technical escalations from customers
- Work with Account Executives and Product Managers to identify customer-specific feature requests
- Represent Scale and engage with customers at major events What We're Looking For •

- Experience automating infrastructure with Ansible or similar tools
