As an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician – Intermediate at ONEOK, a Fortune 500 company, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the electrical, instrumentation, and control systems that keep our facilities running efficiently.

This hands-on position offers variety and impact—from installing and troubleshooting advanced equipment like PLCs, SCADA systems, and gas analyzers, to supporting compressors, pumps, and emission control systems in a dynamic field environment.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of operations and technology—inspecting, calibrating, and repairing equipment, supporting operational technology networks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities Comply with ONEOK ESH policies and governmental regulations Install, commission, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain the following equipment including but not limited to: Instrumentation (e.g., pressure, temperature, level, flow, vibration, transmitters) Control Valves / Actuators Fire and gas detection systems Flow computers Gas analyzers ESD and safety interlock systems (SIS) Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, remote terminal units (RTU)

Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.

Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Experience reading and interpreting repair orders, electrical drawings, procedures, charts, diagrams, dials, gauges, and equipment manuals
