- We anticipate the need for one or more Temporary Nuclear Plant Services Attendant(s) to be located at the Prairie Island Nuclear Plant in Welch, MN.
- The expected duration of the temporary employment: 2-3 months.
- Responsibilities will include plant cleaning, radiological decontamination, equipment and component cleaning, grounds maintenance, fire watch, fire protection surveillance and general labor support for all departments at the plant.
- Requirements (Preferred): Function under written plant operation, maintenance and safety procedures and complete documentation as required by management.
- A condition of employment will be successfully obtaining and maintaining General Security Clearance and a Nuclear Security Clearance for unescorted access to Xcel Energy nuclear plants including successful completion of nuclear General Access Training (GAT) and the nuclear security screening process (typically consists of an alcohol/drug screen, a criminal history check, a psychological assessment, initial credit and background investigation and periodic credit & criminal history checks).
