Requirements

  • You will contribute deep expertise in biologics process development while collaborating across R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners to advance high-impact projects from concept through implementation.
  • Success in this role requires both scientific rigor and the ability to influence across functions, helping teams navigate technical challenges and deliver results in a regulated environment.
  • What you need to succeed: Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related field with 0-3 years of relevant industry experience; or Master's degree in above disciplines with 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • experience with one or more protein production platforms is required.
  • Experience supporting development, scale-up, transfer, and/or commercialization of biologics manufacturing processes in a regulated environment is required.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to design experiments, analyze data, and develop practical solutions to complex challenges is required.
  • Experience managing or leading technically complex projects involving multiple stakeholders is required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence decisions through scientific expertise is required.
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis and scientific data interpretation.
  • Experience supporting recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, or other biological reagents is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of veterinary biologics regulations or other regulated biologics development environments is preferred.
  • Experience with process characterization, technology transfer, validation, or commercial manufacturing support is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DoE), and risk-based development approaches is preferred.
  • Experience working with external partners, contract research organizations, or contract manufacturing organizations is preferred.
