- Airswift is looking for a QHSE Manager to work 12-month (with a strong possibility of renewal) for a major global company specializing in the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of subsea fiber-optic cables in Rio de Janeiro.
- The QHSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across oil and gas operations in Brazil.
- The role ensures full compliance with Brazilian regulations and international standards, while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
- This position is critical in high-risk environments such as offshore platforms, FPSOs, and marine operations often associated with companies like Petrobras and IOC’s. JOB
- RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems Align QHSE strategy with company and project objectives Promote a proactive safety culture (“zero harm” mindset) Lead continuous improvement initiatives compliance with Brazilian regulatory standards, including: (Electrical Safety) (Pressure Vessels & Boilers) (Confined Spaces) (Offshore Safety) risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, JSA) incident investigations and root cause analysis corrective and preventive actions
