Responsibilities
- Job Description: Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look
Requirements
- OR, a BA/BS degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and 20+ years of in lieu of the MA/MS degree requirement.
- Experience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, Electro-optic / Infrared (EO/IR) sensor exploitation, Radio frequency (RF) sensor exploitation, geodesy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team Desired: B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired M.S. in Engineering or Physics Active Security Clearance desired.
- Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software Familiar with STK software
