Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and/or Python .
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support trading workflows and analytics.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk, operations, compliance, and technology .
Requirements
- experience in software engineering within capital markets or financial services .
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python .
- Deep expertise in SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Knowledge of credit products and instruments .
- Good understanding of the trade lifecycle including trade capture, allocations, settlements, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
