Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation scripts to build and deploy applications and systems.
- Analyze project needs/requirements and recommend solutions to enable enterprise cloud adoption.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot systems and/or network standards, processes, and security.
- Create, propose and implement software development standards with architecture and Information Security.
- Maintain system documentation (e.g., best practices, configuration…).
Requirements
- experience that avoids surprise, is a joy to use, and abstracts the complexities of modern development to accelerate the pace of Resmed’s next-generation Healthcare Informatics platform.
- As a Platform Engineer, you must possess world-class technical skills and a strong sense of empathy for your fellow developers.
- Assist in account management as part of an AWS organization strategy.
- Experience Required: BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field – or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience designing and implementing code for infrastructure automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is preferred.
- experience working with AWS 2+ years of
- experience working with infrastructure as a code product (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, with demonstrated hands-on
- experience in one or more of the following domains: Cloud Core Platform Elements: Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Serverless Continuous Deployment: GitHub actions Application development & debugging
- experience: Python, Node.js, TypeScript, etc...
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues throughout the organization.
- Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment and deal with varying degrees of ambiguity.
