Responsibilities
- Lead design across multiple product teams, advocating for user needs and inspiring bold solutions Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and companion teams like Industrial Design, Marketing, and
- Facilitate alignment and buy-in across cross-functional teams coordinating effort to enact our strategy.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, design sprints, and ideation sessions that drive clarity and alignment.
- Manage prioritization, interdependencies, conflicts and trade-offs.
- Craft design artifacts—journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and flows—that bring ideas to life Rapidly iterate concepts based on user research and technical input Contribute to our global design system and champion design best practices across the organization Support and participate in user research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable improvements Mentor and coach other designers, helping them grow in craft and confidence (this is an influence role, not direct people management)
Requirements
- experience in fast-paced, agile environments Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices Proven success delivering intuitive, delightful products informed by research Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills—you can inspire both peers and senior stakeholders Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative setting Willingness to travel up to 10% Bonus if you have:
- Experience planning and leading user research Familiarity with lean experimentation and innovation methods Background in healthcare or medical devices Exposure to AI/ML-powered product experiences Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology—or equivalent
