Moulding Technician (6-Month Contract)

Responsibilities

Escalate and resolve moulding and tooling issues and support continuous improvement activities and projects.
Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of work place safety.
Lead Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance methods and/or schedules so as to be more efficient Continue to maintain own professional development in field of expertise.

Experience Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Pneumatic devices and systems and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.
Ability to lead and develop team members at different levels.
Good understanding of computer systems (MS Office, Oracle).
Ability to work in a fast moving and demanding team environment.
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Required: Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g.
experience on moulding equipment maintenance

The primary role of a Maintenance Technician (Moulding) is to set up, troubleshoot and maintain moulding machines and associated equipment.
Work in association with Production and Engineering teams to ensure Production targets are achieved while maintaining acceptable Quality, Availability and machine Performance.
Ensuring compliance to ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements. Let’s talk about
Responsibilities Prepare and install mould tooling for production runs Perform machine setup, startup, shutdown, breakdown and preventative maintenance on moulding machines Monitor and optimize process parameters for efficiency and quality Ensure all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and performing to standards Liaise with Supervisors and the Production Manager regarding faults or improvements Train and support Associate Technicians and Apprentices Maintain accurate records of setups, calibrations, and
Provide support to other departments to ensure that new projects/equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.
Expert in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
Proactively self-manage and complete work to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
