Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and performance of all IT systems.
- Perform routine health checks and preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
- Maintain incident logs and operational reports. 3.
- Manage cabling, patching, and rack organization.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and upgrades. 4.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and asset inventory.
- Support system upgrades, patching, and migrations. 5.
- Support audits (ISO, SOC, internal compliance).
- Monitor environmental and security systems (CCTV, access logs, alarms). 6.
- Monitor UPS, generators, CRAC units, and fire suppression systems.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on system performance and incidents.
Requirements
- Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2–5+ years of
- experience in data centre operations or IT infrastructure support.
- Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
- Familiarity with DCIM tools, monitoring systems, and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V). Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Ability to work in shifts (24/7 operations environment).

- This role involves monitoring system performance, managing hardware installations, handling incidents, and maintaining uptime in line with service level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities 1.
- Data Centre Operations & Monitoring Monitor data centre infrastructure (servers, storage, network, power, and cooling systems).
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests promptly. 2.
- Incident & Problem Management Troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues.
- Escalate issues to appropriate teams/vendors when required.
- Hardware & Infrastructure Management Install, configure, and decommission servers, racks, and networking equipment.
- Change & Configuration Management Execute changes in accordance with change management processes.
- Security & Compliance Ensure adherence to data centre security policies and access control.
- Facilities Coordination Work closely with facility teams on power, cooling, and physical infrastructure.
- Participate in DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) testing. 7.
