Responsibilities
- WHAT YOU'LL OWN - Design and build scalable backend systems that power Aspora's cross-border payment products end to end - Own the API layer: architect RESTful services and microservices that are modular, performant, and production-ready - Build resilient, fault-tolerant infrastructure capable of handling millions of transactions with high availability - Drive database design and optimisation across distributed systems to ensure speed and reliability at scale - Shape Aspora's engineering culture and - Deep
Requirements
- experience with RESTful APIs and microservices: you've designed them, not just consumed them - Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Go; the language matters less than the depth of your systems thinking - High ownership.
- experience in payments infrastructure, regulated fintech, or high-throughput distributed systems. Not required.
