Simulator Technician I

Responsibilities

  • Record and track maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.
  • Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight checks on assigned simulators.
  • Conduct basic visual alignments.
  • Support simulator refurbishment and hardware modification activities.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain simulators in required condition.
  • Carry out logistics duties, including parts receiving, repair coordination, and testing/validation.
  • Perform additional tasks in support of the Technical Services group as assigned. Minimum
  • Description Learn and perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and associated simulator systems.

Requirements

  • Complete all required and designated training activities.
  • Qualifications Diploma in Electronics Technology, Robotics, Avionics, or an equivalent field. 0–2 years of relevant technical or maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Ability to interpret system diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
  • Computer architecture knowledge and general IT literacy.
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repair.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applications. Fluency in English. Preferred
  • Qualifications Demonstrated interest in aviation. Mechanical aptitude.
