  • Prioritizes incoming calls according to emergency or non-emergency nature.
  • Records information in communication tracking system.
  • Enters bed request in tele tracking and updates status changes.
  • Communicates with other stakeholders to make decisions on patient placement and to determine interventions required.
  • Facilitates communications between staff and other outside entities pertinent to patient care.
  • Distributes communication devices for use during the shifts to physicians and staff.
  • Maintains EMS drug box inventory and oversees the trading out of used or expired drug boxes.
  • Participates in performance improvement projects. What We Require: Education: High school graduate or GED.
  • Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills required.
