Responsibilities
- Monitor process control loops and tune controllers to optimize performance and stability.
- Support system upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance of control strategies.
- Instrumentation & Equipment Maintenance Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments such as: Flow, pressure, temperature, and level transmitters Control valves and actuators Analytical equipment (if applicable) Diagnose and repair instrumentation and electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Analyze trends and data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Update P&IDs, loop sheets, and control documentation as needed.
- Generate reports on equipment performance and maintenance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sites to standardize best practices.
Requirements
- Qualifications Education Associate degree or technical certification in: Instrumentation & Controls Electrical Engineering Technology Automation or related field OR equivalent hands-on experience.
- Score of 75 or better on the NCCER Industrial Electrician test
- experience in process control, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred. Technical Skills Knowledge of PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Experience with DCS systems (e.g., Honeywell, Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa).
- Strong understanding of process instrumentation and control loops.
- Ability to read and interpret: P&IDs Electrical schematics Loop diagrams Familiarity with calibration tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Requirements Ability to work in industrial environments (heat, noise, confined spaces).
- Physical ability to lift equipment and perform fieldwork tasks.

- Responsibilities Process Control & Automation Maintain and troubleshoot distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and automation solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support Respond to plant issues impacting process control systems and instrumentation.
- Work with operations and engineering teams to resolve process upsets and equipment failures.
- Compliance & Safety Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and system modifications.
