Responsibilities

Ensure laundry service required by our Guests is completed on time
Ensure all items for dry cleaning are correctly marked
Check and test garments for color fastening
Check for any damage on received laundry prior to dry cleaning process
Operate dry cleaning machine and ensure a high standard of dry cleaning
Ensure the entire work area remains clean and neatly organized
Follow and ensure compliance with all corporate and hotel policies and procedures
Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required.

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
experience with a dry-cleaning unit in a luxury hotel environment is required
Dry Cleaning & Technician certification
Occupational safety training (chemical handling)
Environmental compliance training (important for dry cleaners using solvents)
Must possess a strong work ethic and be able to work efficiently in a demanding, fast paced environment
Must be physically fit and have the ability to stand, lift, push and pull for long periods during shift
