Requirements

Applies knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required.
Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area. Other Minimum
Qualifications: Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records.
For Behavioral Health roles, must demonstrate ability to safely manage disruptive or potentially violent patients.

This role collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient outcomes. The RN Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.
Manages resources, prioritizes tasks, and adapts to changing patient care needs.
