Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical challenges with consideration for scalability, security, maintainability, reusability, and performance.
- Promote strong engineering practices through code reviews, technical guidance, developer tooling, testing patterns, and team-defined standards.
- Mentor engineers and help them grow through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance, and opportunities aligned to their skill levels.
- Support team culture through clear communication, collaboration, accountability, and team-building opportunities.
- Lead or support team ceremonies such as planning, standups, retrospectives, and other recurring team meetings.

Requirements
- experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with front-end libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue, with React.js preferred. Back-end development
- experience with Node.js and REST APIs such as Express or Fastify.
- Solid understanding of SQL, including writing queries, migrations, and optimizations.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Redis, event-based communication, job processing, and queuing concepts.
- Engineering Judgment Proven ability to architect features, plan implementation from start to finish, and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions, understand other viewpoints, and receive feedback constructively.
- Ability to coordinate work across multiple roles, keep projects moving, and help unblock engineers.
- Experience helping define, improve, or reinforce team processes, development standards, and best practices. What could set you apart Previous

- Experience leading sprint planning, retrospectives, task breakdown, estimation, onboarding, or team development activities.
- Experience partnering with product managers to organize priorities, clarify requirements, and plan delivery.
- Strong understanding of permissioning structures, security analysis, and scalable system design.
- Experience with state management, validation, styling, data communication, or event-based systems such as Redux, MobX, Zustand, Zod, SASS, Tailwind, sockets, Redis, APIs, AWS Lambda, Amazon SQS, or RabbitMQ.
