Responsibilities
- Own the full partnership lifecycle for a portfolio of strategic AI technology partners — from initial identification and deal structuring through joint GTM execution and long-term growth.
- Design and operationalize repeatable GTM motions (co-sell, co-build, marketplace, partner-led POCs) that scale beyond individual relationships.
- Define Amplitude's AI partner strategy: which companies to prioritize, what value we offer them, and how we build durable commercial motion with each.
- Drive product integration roadmaps with partners.
- Build and maintain executive relationships inside partner organizations — VP and C-level.
- Develop enablement programs and joint GTM materials that help partner sales and solutions teams understand where Amplitude fits in the AI development workflow.
- Define success metrics, track partnership-influenced pipeline and revenue, and bring a clear point of view on what's working and what's not to Amplitude's leadership team.
- Demonstrated track record of building high-impact technology partnerships that drove measurable revenue or product outcomes, not just relationship maintenance. Technical fluency.
Requirements
- Amplitude is the leading AI analytics platform, helping over 4,700 customers—including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square—build better products and digital experiences.
- With powerful AI Agents embedded across our platform, teams can analyze, test, and optimize user experiences faster than ever.
- AI is reshaping how every company builds and grows product, and the ecosystem of AI platforms, tools, and infrastructure companies is becoming as important to our go-to-market as our direct sales motion.
- We're looking for an AI Technology Partner Lead to own the strategy and execution of our most critical AI ecosystem partnerships — with companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Mistral, Cohere, and the next generation of AI-native platforms being built on top of them.
- You'll sit at the intersection of product, GTM, and business development — architecting partnerships that drive product integration, co-selling motion, and joint market development.
- You'll set the direction for how Amplitude positions itself inside the AI stack. What You'll Do
- Work directly with Amplitude's product and engineering teams to ensure our platform is deeply embedded where AI companies and AI-native builders need analytics, behavioral data, and experimentation.
- Stay sharp on the AI ecosystem: model providers, developer tooling, AI-native apps, agentic infrastructure.
- experience in technology partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances — ideally with at least some time at a company that was either building AI infrastructure or deeply integrating AI into its product.
- You don't need to write code, but you can credibly engage engineering and product leaders on API integrations, data pipelines, and AI/ML workflows.
- Builder mentality. This is not a steady-state role. The AI ecosystem is moving fast and the playbook isn't written yet. You're energized by that, not slowed down by it.
- Experience at a product analytics, data infrastructure, or developer tools company is a plus. Understanding how data and product instrumentation fits into an AI company's stack matters here.
- AI companies are some of the fastest-growing builders of digital product in the world.
- They need to understand how their users behave, what features drive retention, and where to experiment.
- The person who builds the right relationships in this ecosystem — and builds the integrations and GTM motions to match — will have significant impact on how Amplitude grows in the next phase.
