Responsibilities
- Create and update accurate, complete, and consistent product information in alignment with the product roadmap, customer contractual requirements, and established quality standards.
- Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, data gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain systematic, repeatable processes for data structuring, cleansing, validation, and quality control.
- Document product-taxonomy rules, data standards, validation methods, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders on initiatives related to data accuracy, product taxonomy, and platform consistency.
Requirements
- Responsibilities Apply knowledge of industrial product applications to classify, structure, and maintain product data across multiple industry verticals.
- Use Excel and, where appropriate, basic queries, scripts, regular expressions, or AI-enabled tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data-related activities.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic knowledge of, or exposure to, industrial product categories such as electrical, automation, pneumatic, hydraulic, manufacturing, or related technical products.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including lookup functions, pivot tables, formulas, and data validation.
- Strong analytical, logical-thinking, and pattern-recognition skills, with the ability to identify structure within complex or unstructured datasets.
- Basic knowledge of a programming, data, or scripting tool such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or regular expressions is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, patience, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive work and manage multiple projects.
- experience in a technical environment, such as research and development, manufacturing, factory operations, technical systems, product engineering, product marketing, data analysis, or technical data management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Data Analytics, or another related technical field.
