Responsibilities
- Review and architect legal frameworks for technology transactions related agreements, such as, technology partner agreements, inbound IP licensing agreements, and marketplace arrangements for Cloudflare’s developer platform.
- Review marketing event agreements and support Cloudflare’s team with promotions and sweepstakes.
- Draft terms of service, disclosures, policies, and related processes.
- Build and refine processes that enable the Legal team to scale effectively as Cloudflare continues to expand.

- The ideal candidate brings deep enthusiasm for innovative technology and the ability to collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams throughout the software development and commercialization lifecycle.
- This role requires drafting and negotiating the technology transactions that fuel our products, such as our AI inference offerings.
- JD degree with strong academic credentials and admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- experience with Internet security and infrastructure companies is desired.
- Technical background / expertise is highly desired. While a science or technical degree is not a prerequisite for this job, a passion for technologies is. •
- Experience with copyright law and Internet law is desired (e.g., AI Act, Data Act, net neutrality, DMCA, CFAA).
- Ability to work cross-functionally, with lawyers and non-lawyers, to establish effective solutions efficiently and in an amenable manner.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage many tasks on complex projects.
