Group Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Drive Global Consolidation: Lead the month-end and year-end consolidation processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global reporting standards.
  • Enhance Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive group financial statements and management reports that provide a clear narrative of our global performance.
  • Streamline Treasury & Cash Flow: Oversee group-level cash management and intercompany reconciliations, optimizing liquidity across our international subsidiaries.
  • Champion Compliance & Audit: Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Optimize Financial Systems: Partner with the finance leadership team to improve reporting tools and processes, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate Across Borders: Work closely with regional finance teams to align accounting practices and support global tax and regulatory filings. What You Bring 3+ years of

Requirements

  • experience in group accounting or a complex audit environment
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS or GAAP, with a focus on consolidations and multi-currency environments.
  • Expertise with financial systems: High proficiency in Excel and
  • experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and consolidation software.
  • Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). •
