Responsibilities
- Own the performance of the YouTube department: full responsibility for outcomes across different channels (views, revenue, market position, etc.). •
- Optimize production and efficiency: treat content as production at scale; maintain speed, output quality, and team efficiency; build processes that enable consistent, high-volume execution. •
- Lead YouTube Creative Directors: support them to achieve channel success; build clear accountability and strong incentive structures; remove bottlenecks so they can focus on producing winning content. •
- Capitalize on Emerging Trends: Direct the continuous analysis of the digital landscape to spot high-velocity opportunities; build the framework to prototype and move new channels from "proof-of-concept" to market leaders. •
- Build a scalable playbook: develop systems for finding new niches, evaluating performance (KPIs, benchmarks), and running and interpreting A/B tests; turn intuition and insights into repeatable working processes. •
- Own analytics and experimentation: deeply understand metrics like CTR, watch time, and their impact; run structured experiments (A/B testing, ads testing, content variations); translate data into clear actions. What We Expect: •
Requirements
- Understanding of A/B testing, performance tracking, and feedback loops; •
- Sound judgment and decision-making, with the ability to back decisions with clear logic and arguments; •
- Proven ability to drive results, not just manage people; •
- Experience working with creative teams or content (YouTube is a big plus); •
- Have a background in digital media, content businesses, agencies, or other fast-paced growth environments; •
