Responsibilities
- Responsibilities - Own preparation tasks during month-end close: prepare journal entries with solid JE support, BS reconciliations, supporting schedules for financial reporting and documents for audit requests. - Perform month-over-month BS and P&L analyses and provide good explanations on large variances.
- Identify missing revenue or expenses and determine whether to accrue for that item.
- - Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and the Controller in establishing and implementing internal controls and accounting policies.

- An ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of US GAAP and accounting for revenue recognition, AR, deferred revenue, inventory/COGS, AP/accrued expenses, prepaids, and fixed assets.
- experience of performing various month-end close tasks, including journal entry preparation, BS reconciliations, P&L variance analyses and financial reporting.
- Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA is preferred.
- This position is open to candidates who are in the process of getting a CPA license.
- experience in accounting, either in industry accounting (GL), in public accounting (audit), or mixed. Accounting
- experience in SaaS companies preferred. - Extensive hands-on
- experience in month-end close tasks, such as preparing journal entries, preparing BS reconciliations, preparing support schedules for the financial statements and the audits, and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- - Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with imperfect processes.
- - Ability to work independently as a self-starter without close supervision.
- - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other people in the Accounting Department and people outside of Accounting on larger initiatives and projects.
- experience with Sage Intacct (ERP), Ramp (expense management), Nominal (close management), Tesorio (billings and collections), and/or Salesforce (CRM) is preferred. Adaptable to new systems.
- You must have the authorization to work in the US to become an employee.

- We are seeking a Senior Accountant, GL Accounting, who is a self-starter on tasks assigned and a team player to help with our month-end close processes.
- This person will report to the Accounting Manager.
- This person should be able to maintain good documentation on managed areas and conduct continuous improvements on current processes procedures.
- This person should be able to collaborate well with other teams, such as AP, AR, Business Systems, FP&A, Inventory Management and Operations when needed.
