Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously refine training programs for administrative assistants, paralegals, and other staff with docketing responsibilities, including firmwide onboarding, refresher modules, and targeted upskilling.
Requirements
- The successful candidate combines deep knowledge of rules-based calendaring and court systems with excellent communication skills, a service mindset, and the ability to standardize processes across offices. Position
- experience in a legal professional setting. Minimum of 5 years of prior docketing
- experience preferred. Familiarity with CourtAlert (or other rules-based calendaring software) preferred.
- Experience supporting and maintaining firmwide calendaring across multiple practice groups and offices.
- Strong understanding of court docketing and calendaring procedures, including the practical application of court rules to pleadings and other filings.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to train colleagues of varying
- experience levels across offices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and
- experience with rules-based calendaring software (e.g., CourtAlert). Hands-on
- experience with federal, state, and local courts and their e-filing systems, including NYSCEF, PACER, and applicable appellate platforms.
- Working knowledge of New York state and federal court rules and procedures, with the ability to quickly research and apply local rules and administrative agency requirements.

- This position's salary range is between $65,000 to $75,000, negotiable based on years’ experience.
