Requirements
- What You'll Need To Succeed: Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Medial Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science which includes successful completion of a supervised course of clinical internship in an approved hospital laboratory, or a Bachelor’s degree in an applied science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry).
- Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency (NCA) or equivalent agency as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or specialty certification is preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent with successful completion of an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks duration and held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician) Qualified Applicants must be proficient with one or more of the following clinical analyzers: Sysmex XN Automated Hematology Analyzer , CellaVision Digital Hematology, Clinitek Novus Analyzer, Hamilton ELISA Analyzer, Beckman Coulter Chemistry
- experience in a high-volume, fast-paced reference laboratory setting Must be able to perform analytical and decision-making functions with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to recognize instrument malfunction and troubleshoot when needed while adhering to laboratory SOP's You have a positive attitude and love to bring that energy into the lab every day to support your colleagues You are looking forward to working in a team You concentrate on the details and can work reliably and precisely Able to meet the physical
