Responsibilities
- Build cloud solutions that help people access better sleep health.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, architects, QA, security, and data teams to deliver solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with team and industry best practices.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, integration challenges, and performance issues.
- Support the continuous improvement of development processes, delivery pipelines, observability practices, and release readiness activities.
Requirements
- As an Associate AWS Engineer, you'll join a collaborative engineering team building cloud services that support OSA Pathways within our growing Digital Health business.
- You'll contribute to modern AWS-based services, collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on
- What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline involving coding.
- Working knowledge of Python and an understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Exposure to AWS services, particularly serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth2 and JWT.
- Understanding of microservices architecture principles.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Comfort working in agile development environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Nice to have Exposure to message-brokering systems such as SQS or SNS and event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to NoSQL and relational database technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and monitoring or logging tools.
