Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own Degy's comprehensive social media strategy, aligning it with brand and business goals.
  • Define KPIs and reporting standards to evaluate performance and impact on sales.
  • Make data-driven decisions to improve quality, engagement, and use of communication channels.

  • Create, update, and manage weekly and monthly content calendars.
  • Write, curate, and edit copy and scripts with strong storytelling and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to execute strategy and campaigns.
  • Maintain consistent and regular engagement across all platforms — posting content, monitoring, and replying to comments and messages.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice across all posts, campaigns, and platforms.
  • Track content against KPIs and A/B test formats, captions, schedules, and creative.
  • Make recommendations based on analytics to refine campaigns and further marketing strategy.
  • Monitor and engage with followers through comments, DMs, and mentions to foster relationships.
  • Establish and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, partners, and Degy roster artists.
  • Create and implement paid social media strategies tailored for each platform.
  • Manage budgets for boosted posts, paid campaigns, and content tools.
  • Support related marketing strategies involving Degy's website, app, ticketing, sponsorship activations, and live events.
  • Occasionally oversee interns, SkillBridge associates, or other assigned support staff.
  • Handle off-hours requests as needed for events, live activations, or urgent issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Degy's marketing and entertainment initiatives.

Requirements

  • While strategic leadership is the core focus, you'll also roll up your sleeves with caption writing, creative ideation, and occasional hands-on content production (Adobe Suite or Canva).
  • Qualification into the company's 401k program after required time served
  • You should bring strong storytelling and copywriting skills, combined with the ability to grow audiences, drive engagement, and run successful campaigns across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency in Canva and CapCut is required, with
  • experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Familiarity with analytics and platform management tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and TikTok Business Manager is necessary, and
  • experience with social media management tools is required, with Agorapulse experience a plus.
  • Experience managing paid social budgets and ad campaigns is a plus.
  • Experience with Office 365 and SharePoint is required, and familiarity with project management software, specifically ClickUp, is a plus.
  • This role requires adaptability, a willingness to jump in from day one, and the ability to thrive in a remote work setting.
  • Occasional travel to events, conferences, and meetings may be required, along with flexibility to work some nights, weekends, and holidays to support live entertainment.

  • We're looking for a mid-level professional who is forward-thinking, trend-savvy, and passionate about the live entertainment space.
  • You'll develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies, create and activate campaigns, and produce company-centric content that tells compelling stories.
  • The Social Media Manager will also design and implement data-driven campaigns, track and report on analytics, and make recommendations based on insights to improve performance.
  • Consistency across all platforms and adaptability to new trends and tools will be key to telling Degy's story effectively.
