Responsibilities
- Write SQL queries and build data models (Power Query/DAX) to extract, transform, and load data from SAP & other sources into automated, governed datasets.
- Perform field inventory reconciliations and variance analysis leveraging finance knowledge (expenses, accounts, debits/credits); investigate root causes and propose corrective actions.
- Build finance dashboards that enable management decision-making and clearly reflect P&L impact, material- and batch-level analytics, and trend insights.
- Support post-count validation via dashboard-driven analytics and automated checks; confirm SAP adjustments align to approved proposals; summarize P&L impacts to management.
- Identify and implement process automations using Power BI, SQL, and Excel scripting to improve efficiency, control, and auditability.
Requirements
- The Inventory Data Analyst will be the team’s primary expert in Power BI dashboard development, SQL-based data processing, and automated Inventory reporting in an environment with limited IT support.
- The individual will collaborate with Supply Chain & Field Inventory teams to ensure complete and accurate data flows from SAP and related systems.
- What will you need to be Successful? Education: Minimum Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.
- Strong Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query) and SQL experience.
- Background with SOX, SAP, and multi-national environments preferred.
- Advanced Power BI development; proficient SQL;
- experience with financial dashboards (expenses, accounts, debits/credits); ERP (SAP) familiarity; strong attention to data quality, controls, and SOX awareness; ability to operate independently with limited IT support.

- What will you be doing? Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards focused on Inventory and operational metrics (inventory performance & variances).
