Requirements

Accepts additional training required by the company to keep abreast of metering technology and automation techniques.
Required High School Diploma or GED.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be able to work and get along with other people, be able to meet public. AC/DC Fundamentals.

Starting rate is $32.51 per hour with a thereafter rate of $36.44 per hour.
Bargaining The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $32.51 to $36.44 per hour This position is eligible for the following

We anticipate the need for one or more Electric Meter Helper(s) to join our Xcel Energy Team at our Rice Street Service Center in St Paul, MN.
This position will be posted for 10 Working Days from July 24, 2026, - August 11, 2026.
Responsibilities Performs general housekeeping functions.
Operates forklift in Loading/unloading equipment shipments, and in moving inventory/stock.
Fills, cleans, packages, ships, receives meter orders from other areas.
Completes receipt/ shipment/ ordering documentation as required.
Works with other shop and field personnel in prioritizing and completion of work and maintenance of appropriate record and paperwork.
This position will require lifting, pulling and stretching.
